In the second quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Ghana saw interesting trends in the performance of the top platformer games. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games showed varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Subway Surfers by SYBO Games exhibited a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $115 in the final week of June. The downloads for the game fluctuated, reaching a high of around 13.7K in the week of April 21. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 148.7K to 164.5K throughout the quarter.

Helix Stack Jump: Smash Ball from Kooapps Games saw a significant decline in downloads from 13.5K in late April to just over 1K by the end of June. The active user count followed a similar downward trend, starting at 18K and dropping to around 6.5K by the quarter’s end.

Subway Princess Runner maintained a steady presence, with weekly downloads peaking at about 10K at the end of April. The active users showed a gradual increase, reaching approximately 46.7K by the end of June.

Temple Run 2: Endless Escape by Imangi Studios experienced a rise in revenue towards the end of the quarter, with a peak of $76 in late June. The downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase to around 9.7K in late April. Active users varied, peaking at approximately 32.1K by the quarter’s close.

Finally, Sonic Dash Run from SEGA showed consistent download numbers, peaking at 5K in late April. Active users increased steadily, reaching around 43.4K by the end of June.
